I spent most of the day today busy writing a huge article (10,000 words so far!) so I nearly ran out of time to squeeze in some hobby work for the streak.
At the eleventh hour I searched for a quick and mindless job I could do to tick the hobby streak box. To this end I fished out of my Eldar stash seven old metal Wraithguard that I grabbed from ebay who knows how many years ago. I would have tried to get them based and degreased but just filing off all the flash and scrapping off bits of paint that survived stripping by itself took more than half an hour.
I also have a box of plastic wraithguard still in the cellophane to do up but that will be for another time. The metal ones only come with distortion cannons so for variety I will probably do the plastic ones up with the sword and board options.
Which do you think is cheaper, old metal Wraithguard or new plastic Wraithguard?
