Today I decided to get some base colour down on a whole horde of Eldar Fire Dragons. I count 21 of them, a crazy large number of them to field in one army. I ended up with so many as a consequence of many years dipping into ebay to source them and bidding while forgetting what I already had. These boys are probably from about three or four different lots nabbed at different times over the years. My preference is for the older metal aspect warriors over the newer models in frail and faulty “finecast” material, hence why ebay is just the about the best if not the only place to source them. The metal ones are very often much cheaper too given they are out of production. See what they sell for now here.
Tragically I broke the nozzle of my airbrush while cleaning it afterwards. While screwing the nozzle back on the nozzle’s thread snapped off in the airbrush’s barrel. I managed to fish it out using the tip of a pair of snips to dig into it as I unscrewed it. It was only a cheap chinese airbrush so that is not so unexpected.
