Hobby Streak Day 36 – Primed New Shiny – Steel Legion
Today I primed the Steel Legion and Astra Militarum characters that I prepped yesterday. Project Steel Legion lumbers forward another step. I primed them black using Vallejo Black (matt) Surface Primer through my cheap chinese airbrush. Afterwards I gave my airbrush a thorough clean which I often do not do well enough really. It is especially important to clean up well after using a primer. It is meant to stick to where other paints will fall off.
Aside from this I spend a lot of idle moments wondering on how I am going to kitbash a command squad to look authentically Steel Legion.
