Hobby Streak Day 4 – More Tau Devilfish – Detailing
Once again I focused on the Tau Devilfish for day 4 of my hobbystreak.
I want to put the Farsight Enclaves symbol on the doors and hatches. Initially I thought I might just slap some decals on there but then I thought I would have a go at freehand painting the symbols. To start I would have to get a perfect circle down. I considered using a stencil and the airbrush for that step but then figured by the time I made the stencil I could just as easily used the brush to do them, so I did that. It was not so quick really but I did manage to get a pretty good circle in the centre of all the hatches and doors just using a brush.
Aside from that I put some wet blended grey panels on the doors and hatches to help those features pop out.
And picked out a number of little details like buttons and the like.
