Hobby Streak Day 22 – A Batch of Priming and Zenithal Highlights
I probably should have worked on the blood axe boyz today but instead I decided to prime Commander Torchstar and his drones that were assembled yesterday. Even with cleaning the airbrush that was not really a half hour job on its own so I also went on to also throw down a zenithal highlight to the good commander and also the Sentinel and Warp Spiders that I primed earlier in this streak. For the zenithal I used Titanium White Acylic Ink by Liquitex. I find white ink goes through an airbrush much better than white paint. White paint just seems to clog up the brush no matter how thinned it is.
Finishing Commander Torchstar is all I need to do to have enough Farsight Enclave models painted to make a Hunter Cadre. So I expect I will prioritise painting him over the following days.
